"First off, check-in was weird. The owner told us a power outage a few days ago wiped out his key card machine, so he couldn't give us keys because replacement was still on order, that we'd have to just find him and he'd let us in to our room. Don't really understand how temporarily losing power destroys a machine like that, I hope its legitimately short term but just started off the experience creepy wondering if he's one of those nosy micromanaging owners who wants to spy on everyone etc. The...

The bed and breakfast rate was perfect allowing us to enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Cavalier Restaurant every morning of our stay.
