"The cottages are comfortable, but quite spartan. There is a kitchen which we did not use. No TV (not a big deal for us). I think that they would make more sense as a base to explore the region, rather than a one-night stay like we had. The people were friendly. "

"Anything this location lacks in luxury is made up for in the solitude and peacefulness of the property. The Private hot tub overlooking a horse and sheep pasture was a great addition. Visually isolated from the road and from all other nearby properties. About 10km outside of town gets you away from the other tourists. "We really loved this place. It is in the middle of nowhere - but everything in Iceland kind of is. It was so peaceful here. The cottage was bigger than i imagined. The kitchen has basics like salt/pepper/oil. Close to the famous golden circle destinations so you get an early start in the loop before the rest of the tourists join in."

"This was the last night in Iceland after camper vanning it all week. And, i must say it was an experience. The drive there, the surrounding area, and the beautiful view from the top was phenomenal! The room was very clean and modern feeling. I felt like a James Bond villian in my tower. We got lucky and were the only people there, so we had the tower to ourselves. I highly recommend this stay for a unique night with amazing views!! "

"Mooi en nieuw chalet. Was brandschoon en aangenaam warm. Uitzicht is prachtig, zeker tijdens het ochtendgloren. We zaten in 10A. Hottub was koud bij aankomst en pas op temperatuur aan het einde van de avond. We hadden ook geen warm water. De volgende ochtend was alles warm. "

"I loved this cottage and was so sad to leave! I have never stayed at such a comfortable and cozy place. We arrived late at night and it was such a breath of fresh air walking into the cottage. Everything was just perfect. The beds and bedding were so comfortable. We were close to the golden circle and south coast so a slow exploration of the area was possible. "
