"We had a very pleasant stay overall. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the pool. The gentleman who checked us in was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional, which made a great first impression.
The only negative experience happened during breakfast. I booked a rate that included breakfast and paid for it in advance. However, when we arrived, the receptionist repeatedly insisted that we did not have breakfast included. She kept saying, “I believe you do not have breakfast,” without checking our reservation first.
I had to ask her to call another staff member, and after checking the reservation, the second receptionist immediately confirmed that breakfast was indeed included.
I understand that mistakes can happen, but I believe the reservation should be verified before telling guests that they are not entitled to a service they already paid for. It was an unnecessary and uncomfortable situation.
Aside from that, everything else was wonderful. The hotel itself was great, and this was the only negative experience we had during our trip to Canada."
