"Gorgeous property, staff were so lovely, lots of parking! Room and decor was lovely and we felt so at home. It’s a shame we didn’t spend more time on site. Breakfast was great, and the cafe was insane! Probably one of the best cafes in the county, if not country. We will definitely return. The choice to purchase local produce from the pantry was a nice touch too. We visited the area for business, but hope to come back in our spare time and stay again!"

"Personal choice but didn't like the evening menu choices and breakfast was good if poached eggs were cooked better. Mine still had the clear egg slime on them. Staff were brilliant even down to the housekeeping. Room we had was really lovely, modern and a good size. Lots of space in bathroom and a great shower. Free parking was a real bonus. Really enjoyed our weeks stay at golden fleece hotel"

Whether I was heading out to explore the hubbub or grab a bite at nearby restaurants, everything was just outside the door. The room was stylish, with little touches that make a stay feel special. "Gorgeous location. Big room with comfy bed and good bathroom. Cosy bar and we enjoyed a lovely meal. Nice walk into the tiny village for cafe and another pub. Good value. If you’re not a dog person it’s worth noting there were a lot of guests with dogs."

"The inn was okay and the staff were nice. Couldn’t sleep though which is the point of a hotel. Had a road facing room and could hear every single car as it sped by. Torture. The shower was also maybe the worst I’ve had in the last 5 years of constant travel. Felt like someone held a pinched hose over me and there was no water pressure at off peak shower times. "
