This was the best place we stayed at during our 12 day trip to Germany. The town is charming, parking was easy, the breakfast was scrumptious, the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff was very nice. I would highly recommend a stay here.

This is my second stay (4yrs ago too) and I love this hotel. The service is impeccable and the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. The renovations are beautiful and the option to serve yourself and mingle in dining area is very nice. Thank you for being pet friendly…I traveled to Braunfels twice now to pick up new puppies and I always feel so welcome with my pups. The park is really convenient right behind the hotel and I never used my rental car during my stay. Thank you again for a great experience!

Amazing hotel. Renovated modern within the old building. Sitting on the castle grounds but hot within the castle walls. Easy access to the city center and the castle itself, which is amazing. For those who want to explore the surroundings, Weilburg and its castle is close by, the Kubacher Tropfsteinhoehle is a great attraction during the summer and all is close from this hotel. I am looking forward to coming back here. I have family in Braunfels and used to stay there but this is a great alternative and really a comfortable and great way to stay. I had breakfast with my family but it looks like they have an amazing breakfast buffet so something to consider. If you want to eat outside across the street is Konditorei Vogler, a well known master baker. They offer a breakfast as well (you may have to make reservations there, especially during busy season) Either way, stop in there and get something at one point, he is an amazing chef.

What a lovely find—an older hotel in a charming little town with friendly staff, clean rooms, and good value. Highly recommend if you are visiting Braunfels.

Gute Lage in einem schönen Ort

Der erste Eindruck vom Hotel war gut, der CheckIn problemlos. Da wir nur eine Nacht dort waren, können wir das Hotel nur bedingt einschätzen, da wir zeitbedingt nicht alle Möglichkeiten nutzen konnten. Es gab aber ein gutes Frühstück und das Personal war nett.

Lieux très sympathique

Hôtel plutôt tranquille du mois à l'emplacement de ma chambre, mon collaborateur se situé dans un couloir avec beaucoup plus de chambres et comme nous avons travaillé la nuit et rentré le matin au alentours de 5h00, mon collaborateur a été dérangé par les gens qui sortaient de leurs chambre et qui non pas respecté le sommeil des autres.

Leuke locatie maar update nodig

Vriendelijk personeel, leuke locatie, maar enige update lijkt noodzakelijk. Stopcontacten naast het bed en onder bureau zeer moeilijk bereikbaar; bovendien grijp je onder het nachtkastje in het stof. Rechts van het bed was deze plaats ook erg moeilijk bereikbaar omdat de ruimte tussen cv radiator en bed erg smal was. Badkamer erg krap en met douchegordijn bijna niet meer van deze tijd. Kamer op 2e verdieping was erg warm, geen airco nog ventilator.

Själva hotellet är det inte något fel på. Det enda som störde var värmen, då det inte fanns luftkonditionering på rummet. Man fick sova med öppet fönster och det var mycket oväsen utanför. Vi kom på måndag kväll och det fanns bara en hyfsad restaurang öppet och det var några km bort på en golfklubb.
