"Beautiful hotel with intricate interior throughout which is a wonderful setting to base a stay in Bruges. The hotel is run by John and Michael who are the most incredible hosts, with nothing too much trouble and an incredibly warm welcome. We arrived late on a Friday evening but we're greeted and shown to our room with lots of information about the city. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of choice and high quality fresh ingredients from yoghurt, fruits, granola, breads and pastries, eggs...

"The hotel was located in a beautiful area close to the cathedral. Within walking distance of both of the city squares. The staff were amazing. Helpful and kind. Their breakfast is amazing and the atmosphere is stunning!"

"Dukes Palace is an excellent place to stay in Brugge. We stayed in the residence side which was lovely. Breakfast was well worth adding on to your room. Lots of choices, including prosecco and chocolate 😀walked everywhere from the hotel. Staff suggested restaurants and booked our taxi. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends."

Die Drinks waren hervorragend und mit viel Sorgfalt zubereitet. Auch das Frühstück hat überzeugt: lecker, vielfältig und individuelle Wünsche wurden problemlos erfüllt. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswerter Aufenthalt."

"Stunning property in a wonderful location. However, style over substance with the rooms and service. There is limited room to put anything, as surfaces are covered in ornaments. There was no full length mirror. Grounds were beautiful, but they appeared understaffed, and struggled to meet requests such as extra pillows (as we only got one each), and unable to man the bar when checking in guests etc. Had an unfortunate incident where we were made to feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest....

"The room was comfortable and just what we needed. Be prepared to walk stairs as there is no elevator. Loved the extra little touches - chocolates, fruit, water and other beverages."

"Great location but was dissatisfied to see that scaffolding blocked our view the entire stay…would have liked to have been warned about that "
