"This little gem made our overnight stay in Telluride perfect! It’s surprisingly affordable, and the location is unbeatable. Joe was super kind and helpful at check in, and we loved the view from our 3rd floor room. While it’s true that there is no ac, that didn’t bother us at all. There are fans, and Telluride is cool at night. The beds are really comfortable, and the room was sparkling clean. I will say that Telluride is bustling in the morning, so don’t expect to sleep in if you have a street...

"It was a beautiful place! Loved our location. Close to the hot springs pools and right on the river. We could see and hear it from our rooms balcony. Slept with the window open and listened to it all night and it was awesome. There was also a trail loop that ran along the river that you could just hop on and enjoy. "The St. Elmo is under renovation. We were upgraded to a first floor suite which was nice. However, our stay was not as pleasant as the previous year because there was no breakfast included ... not even coffee in the morning. Last year there was a marvelous breakfast, but because the hotel is under renovation, the dining area was not available. I expect that everything will be outstanding once the renovation is complete."

"This property is older than some, but very well maintained. The grounds are beautiful and the fact that it is right by the river is an added bonus. The sitting area outside by the river with the hot tub is peaceful and relaxing. The hairdryer in my room did not work, and there was no soap in the shower. Also, the TV was very confusing to operate. In spite of these things I loved staying there and would again."
