"Louis was welcoming and helpful. Room was clean with air conditioning which was a huge bonus in the heatwave! Room was basic but meet our need - an overnight stay.
Some amenities could be update though such as the shower head which partially broken but usable.
Overall I would recommend for short stay. However, I may not recommend if travelling with younger kids since there is almost no space to move around."
"Air conditioner was broken and the rooms was red hot beds was comfy breakfast was ok didnt really use other facilities room was nice other than being hot ...."
"Great hotel. Our room was very big with a huge bed. The bathroom was a good size with both bath and shower. Everything was very clean. Great central location, 5-10 minute walk to city centre shopping arcades, restaurants and bars. Conveniently there is a multi-storey car park opposite (formerly NCP), where you can get discounted parking with a code from hotel reception. Spa facilities available; pool, and spa treatments, showers and changing rooms. Huge dining room with a delicious evening menu, and breakfast. The bar is great if you don’t fancy a late night out in town, cocktail menu, good draught selection and friendly staff. Could possibly do with some snacks/nibbles, such as crisps, nuts etc. It was our second visit and we’ll definitely return. Highly recommend."
"The hotel was great, lovely interior and very friendly and helpful staff. Only issue there was no car park although I saw there was meant to be. There was a sign to a car park for the hotel but it was closed off and we were informed to park across the road and pay £24 for overnight parking at the back of a stadium.
Had a wonderful stay other wise."
"Beautiful hotel! The staff were super helpful and the facilities were perfect. The room was perfect and large. Very well maintained and clean. Personally I would have preferred a little amenities kit in the bathroom and I was slightly disappointed with the breakfast. With a buffet I expected more items on the menu and some of the pastry and hot food tasted quite stale which was disappointing considering the price. Overall, lovely hotel."
"Breakfast buffet offered plenty of options. Property convenient to shopping and restaurants. Across the street from the castle. Only downside was all the street construction which wasn’t their fault."
