"Great hotel"

"Room very clean, spa relaxing and breakfast superb. The wait for our dinner was unacceptable. We sat down just before 8pm and after asking twice where our food was it arrived at 9:15pm. To be fair the drinks bill was reduced to nil as a goodwill feature due to the delay. The staff in the dining room were very good. Also if you have an EV you may not get access to the charger as there was only one. It does say in the promotions info that there are 10 in total but they are in the main for the PJ...

"Stayed overnight at a very good rate while attending a concert at the P&J nearby. Very warm welcome from receptionist, room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good if a little chaotic when so many arrived at once, but staff were excellent and efficient in dealing with the rush. Very impressed and would definitely stay again."

"Wanted to use the gym, didnt as it was only open after 8am due to it being "amongst rooms and it makes noise"....move it then! Room was clean and spacious, it was cold on entry, but did warm up with heating. Gym not being open was a disappointment. Website said open from 7am, staff said not open until 8am."

"Lovely staff, very friendly. Room was far too hot and air con only blew out hot hair despite being on the cold setting. We were on the lower ground floor so we couldn’t open our windows properly without having the curtains open which meant people walking down the side street could see directly in to our room. One of the windows was locked too. Bar closed early and would only serve bottled wine or beer. "

"The hotel was great, it is years since I stayed here and I must admit I was a bit dubious but it was fantastic. We stayed as a family with grandchildren etc and the staff could not be more welcoming and very friendly. We will certainly be returning."

"The receptionist was far from welcoming - very matter of fact. I enquired to see if there was any cancellation with a dog friendly room - shrugged her shoulders and that was a no - not even I am sorry. Bar staff where we could take a dog was over the top - as we walked in announced to whole bar we were walking in - there was a very loud child approx 9 yrs old who he was encouraging to be even louder - we moved table. We have stayed here a few times but will not be back."
