The hotel is excellent and the rooms we had was lovely and spacious. Perfect comfortable bed. Perfect service and very friendly. The soap pumps in shower and sink are not working properly but lovely smell. Overall a very nice stay in a historical building. Roof terrace was a bonus

Great location in Brno for holiday or business

Great location, lovely rooms and hotel. Staff very friendly and the breakfast was good. I have stayed at 3 hotels in Brno over the last 6 months and this will be where i stay for my next business trip.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and everything worked as it should. The only thing that prevented a full 5 stars for everything was the dated decor, furniture etc in the hotel. I’d say the hotel is possibly between being an excellent 2 star / decent 3 star.

Had a great stay. Breakfast was much better than expected. Great location. Only slight problems were the solid floors in the room and hard mattress, which affected the comfort score slightly. Would definitely return

Absolutely wonderful property. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic. I lucked out and got a room with a gorgeous view, but even if you don’t have the same luck, they have a wonderful, large rooftop terrace with beautiful views. Tables and chairs are aplenty on the terrace, and you’re welcome to bring drinks up there to enjoy. Great staff, great experience. Definitely recommend.

A nice hotel—I had a room on one of the top floors with amazing views. Bed comfortable, bathroom modern. A 10-15 minute walk from the train station. The taxi did not want to take me because it is in a pedestrian zone, but it is one or two blocks from the edge of that zone so maybe another one would. Pretty close to restaurants and the castle.

Great find!

This was such a good surprise, big room, very comfy pillows and bed, a breathtaking view. And good breakfast. Location was fantastic. Only trouble was no parking, we parked in a garage about 8 minute walk for about $20. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

I had a lovely stay, the hotel has a very unique design, the front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally spacious. Wifi working great. My only negative point is that on weekend nights, as the hotel is very central, the noise from the street really penetrates the room. I didn't mind much but I know some people are sensitive.

Interesting historic (pioneering ‘modern’) building. You can do a self-guided tour around original public spaces, not now in use. Rooms and ambience very pleasant, staff very helpful, breakfast good (though the croissants are too crunchy). Very central location. Highly recommended.

This is as much a museum as a hotel - but its quirks aren't necessarily appealing. My room (804) was nicely but basically furnished, however, the bathroom was immediately across the corridor - it was odd and very inconvenient to have to leave the main room and walk across the corridor. All other rooms on this floor had proper private bathrooms incorporated into the room layout. This was very disappointing. The room was clean, tidy and with small view of the city. Spacious. Breakfast was ok - quite restricted, basic choice. Nothing special. This hotel is clearly charging due to its National Monument status - but unless you're seriously into the history and architecture of this hotel, it's a very overpriced option, for what is actually offered as a hotel. Overall, it was basic and quite disappointing.
