"Have lived in Van for over 10 years the moved to the valley. Was a show I wanted to see and figured a stay in Van was appropriate. The Waldorf was great. Easy check in, clean room, comfy bed and place to park. Will definitely stay here again next time a show is in town and I need to do so."

"A bare bones place, very dark and dated but pretty clean and well located for flights out of YVR. Don't stay if you like firm beds and expect a place to hang your clothes - there are no closets. Shower was good. Don't stay if you have mobility issues as you have to navigate stairs with your suitcases when coming from the parking lot. The restaurant was good, though under-staffed."

"The space is amazing! The kitchen , living room , bathroom and appliances are very sleek , clean and new as if we are the first guests ever visit there. The patio door opens to the water front and to a long walk friendly water front walkway. There are restaurants along the walkway with beautiful views. I ran into a massage shop and had a whole body massage while I was out walking. A few grocery shops where I bought fresh food and brought back to condo and cooked a delicious and fresh dinner....

"This hotel is unique, sort of a hidden gem tucked away. You would not think there was a hotel there. Once in the property, everything is out of place but in place. Very nostalgic. Once in the room it felt like home. It had a homely feeling to it. The room felt like my own. Great spot"

"English Bay's location cannot be beat.
As far as the hotel itself, one has to remember it's old and probably last updated in the '80s. However everything worked and how spacious the room/suite I got for the money was great!
Only nit was a dirty spoon in the drying rack. And maybe that there's not venting in the bathroom.
