"The full kitchen was a great option for breakfast and making lunch to pack for our hikes. Great location in mammoth. The town trolley has a stop right in front. The town loop bike path also passes along the hotel."

The forest view was stunning from the top floor and the rooms were brand new, clean and very tastefully decorated. "This is a good place if you plan to be out most of the time. The location is great, close to everything. The breakfast was good and useful in the mornings before the hikes. The kitchen staff was nice and friendly. There is no elevator on the property; be prepared to carry everything and leave nothing in your car. There is an active bear population. "I mean for $600 for two nights you would think they would refresh your room but alas they didn’t. Ice makers were all broken, hotel bar was closed, and jacuzzi was broken too. Don’t know what I paid for but wasn’t that. Hotel staff was very sweet, however, no complaints there."

"While the room was clean, the hotel is u dergoing renovations. Our room was missing the trim around the window. The pool and spa were closed. No where in the listing on Expedia did it mention this was occurring. Was disappointed as the hot tub would have been nice for my husband who is hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. It was one of the reasons I chose it. Also, the hot items for breakfast were not ready at 6:30 am."
