Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. The best thing about the hotel was the free shuttle service and the guys who drove us. They were so polite and knowledgeable of the area, made recommendations, and were extremely helpful and accommodating.

Would not say exactly ski in and ski out 75 steep steps up and 75 steps back to the Gondola from the hotel. There is a ski check for guests at the Gondola base and the people there are great. Had three days without hot water that sucked.
