"Very clean and affordable hotel, especially for a short layover. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but I did have one disappointing experience upon arrival. After a flight from Toronto, I arrived at the hotel around 1:45 p.m. feeling exhausted and hoping to rest for a bit before exploring the city. I was the only guest at the front desk and asked whether an early check-in might be possible. The staff member checked my reservation and advised that early check-in was not available for my booking...

"We liked our clean room and comfortable bed. We did have a drink at the bar and some appetizers they were good. We enjoyed the outdoor area of the hotel, nice to have a few picnic tables so you could do your own lunch or dinner if desired. We didn’t like the idea of having to pay for the shuttle bus back to the airport. We had recently stayed at another hotel close by and they did not charge for there shuttle bus. Other than that it was a nice stay."

"If you miss the free shuttle it’s €23 for a taxi. The check in is quick and no fuss. The room was tiny but ok for the short time we were there. The shuttle bus back to airport was very good."

"They were so accommodating, we got in early morning from an overnight flight and they were able to give us our room well before check in time - so incredible for weary travelers!! The breakfast was delicious and had a huge variety. We loved our four day stay and would not hesitate to book again!!"

"Room was large and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was the air conditioning in the room would not go low enough to keep things cool on the extremely hot days we experienced. I also was surprised with having to pay 5 euro for a bottle of filtered water for the room on those hot days. Otherwise our visit was pleasant."

"Hotel is very near the train station to catch the sprinter train into Amsterdam which takes 17 minutes and has 4 stops. The room in the hotel was very spacious and clean. I wasn't overly impressed with the buffet breakfast for Euro20 pp but maybe we arrived late in the morning. There is a great little snack area at the reception area where you do self scan to checkout. I'd certainly recommend the hotel :-)"

"My personnel at the bar was pretty rude when we still had 10 minutes to get a drink and they wouldn’t make a cocktail for us. If the bar is technically open until a certain time, everything should be available until that time and then they should clean up. Afterwards, they kicked us out and we had to have our drink not the cocktail that we wanted in the lobby."

"The bottom sheet had large permanent stains on it and looked disgusting. While probably washed it should have been replaced a long time ago."
