"Lovely staff and spa facilities"

"We had a great stay in the Bridge. In particular the staff and the restaurant was excellent. Loads of parking in a very pretty place. Typical Lakes rooms that great in a proper old coaching inn. We would stay again."

"Property appears to have been recently made over, everything is new and fresh, extremely clean and although on the small side the rooms are perfect for overnight stays, comfortable bed and with more than enough tea/coffee supplies unlike a lot of places. The continental breakfast was excellent quality and plentiful. We could not fault the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall excellent value for money and we will definitely go back"

I would leave a note for guests arriving early that they can leave their cars in the car park before check in as my partner kept going back to check with someone (anxiety) and there wasn't anyone around to ask. "We were sitting on the bench outside of our room and the lady who worked in the ticket collection place, driving a blue svu, almost parked her car on top of our laps. The staff should be more considerate."

"Location was good and grounds are spacious to sit out and wander about on a dry day. Building and room in need of some TLC. My room had a burnt iron mark on floor, telephone had no line, staff said they were updating lines. Kettle leaked when it boiled. Side table lamp didn’t work. "Great little last minute trip on a hot day and thoroughly enjoyed it and the hotel was clean and welcoming, especially the Scottish lady on reception who was such a lovely welcoming person. Hotel was, clean and had everything we needed."

"I liked the sea view. I liked the friendliness of the staff and that they listened to my requests. However my room was too small. The TV plug only just reached the wall socket. The kettle and bedside light had to sit on the floor because I couldn't plug them in otherwise. There was no bedside table. My room was not made up between the first and second nights. My toilet seat snapped off and was unusable. There was not much choice at breakfast, marmalade and only one choice of cereal."
