"The pool staff was super protective of the area and made clear no outside drinks were allowed because there was a poolside bar staff to take drink orders. However, they never came out or seemed to want to provide drinks. The rooms were ok but definitely not as nice as the suggested classification of the hotel. "I really enjoyed my stay. I was in for a baseball game and the walk to Kauffman only took about 16 minutes. The property appears well maintained. Although towels are a bit on the small side. As I was only one person, it was not an issue. I would definitely recommend Hotel Lotus, especially for a ball game, It is a bit far too commute to downtown Kansas City. Also, the AC was excellent!!! I love a cold room!!!"
