A great place to stay in Brussels.

Everything was very good except for the fact that I could not get into the hotel upon arrival. Evidently I was supposed to receive a code but never got it. Thankfully, the owner/manager answered the phone and was able to buzz me in. I should add that the breakfast was astonishing. In short, one mix up but a high level of hospitality. I plan to go back, making sure to get a code to get in. Outstanding location too!

Cute boutique hotel. Similar to an airbnb. As long as you expect that, then your expectations will be met. Sophie was fabulous and breakfast was delicious. Lovely distance to the heart of the city and quiet place to sleep. Lovely place

Great position

Location really close to city centre. Everything walkable. Property fab and Sophie was lovely. Nothing too much trouble. Only issue was the small square opposite which seems to attract lively young drunks at 3 am.

スタッフの方がいつも笑顔で朝も出先から帰って来たときも気持ちが良かった。 近くで工事をしていたけれど、基本的に夜は静かなのでゆっくり滞在することができた。 朝食はシンプルでフルーツやヨーグルトはなし。ブリオッシュがとてもおいしかった。 階段がとても狭いので大きな荷物がある人はちょっと大変かもしれない。

Put up a sign showing where the keypad is!

It is difficult to find the key code pad as it is hidden behind the grill. Fine if you know it is there, not so good if you don't. This meant needing to phone up to get directions on how to get in the building. Not great, if you just want to get it. Otherwise, a comfortable stay.

Central location and friendly service

Good and very friendly service. The room was clean, tidy and well organised. If you have a heavy luggage you may need help to carry it upstairs. Great location and in walking distance to transportation and most major attractions.

The place is in the heart of Brussels, 5 minutes walking to grand place. The hostess was very nice and friendly. I truly enjoyed staying at this hotel. You can barely know there’s someone else in the other rooms because is very private.

Great boutique hotel in the centre

We were visiting Brussels for 1 night. Brilliant choice for a hotel. Sophie was lovely, friendly and provided great local knowledge. Breakfast was good, fresh and tasty. Loved our stay.

Lovely stay

Happy Guesthouse was a terrific surprise. I booked because of its central location, and I was delighted by the service. This was a return trip to Brussels, and Sophie pointed out some new places farther afield for me to discover. As for the room it was clean, welcoming and exactly as pictured. Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and very tasty with local ingredients and always with fresh squeezed juice.

Practical and convenient location.

The stairs may be challenging to those guests who are travelling with heavy luggage. The ongoing construction work on the opposite side of the street was quite noisy. Very convenient location.

Intimt, god beliggenhet og bratte trapper

Beliggenheten var det absolutt beste med dette lille hotellet. (Det har kun 4 rom). Ett rom i hver etasje, med bratte trapper. Litt upraktisk å få bagasjen til og fra rommet. Veldig god frokost med et fransk preg.

A VERY cute hotel- walking distance to the city center and train station. The furniture and the little details of this place really make it unique. (However, note there are narrow stairs to the rooms!) The breakfast was delicious!!! Sophie was so sweet and even marked our map for us to show us the best sites of the city. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Room & Host

Sophie is the sweetest! She welcomed us with a city guide to all the best places to see in Brussels. The room was immaculate. We did a Euro trip including 4 cities and HAPPY Guesthouse was by far our favorite hotel.
