The hotel was lovely. I liked the Bohemia shic style of the place and the history of the building. The bed was the most comfortable beds that we have slept on! And the pool and the garden are were beautiful. The breakfast is extra but has a great selection. We really enjoyed our stay!

The location of the hotel is great. The staff was friendly. However, I would say the rooms are quite outdated and bathrooms are poorly designed to accommodate comfort. The common area and bar is cozy.

Cutely outfitted boutique hotel in Brussels, the room was very petite to say at best, yet the bed was comfy, the shower and bathroom worked and I had a quiet and relaxing night. I like the formula of the place, when I get back to Brussels I'll consider coming back here to find out more about the history of the place.

The location was excellent, round the corner from a main shopping street, five minutes walk from a metro station and walking distance from the Grand Place. The hotel is full of character and the staff friendly.

It was nicely cleaned hotel, shower and bathrooms were very nice. I just didn't like the fact it was lot of noise and commotion that could be heard from the window and the entire hotel was dimly lit, it felt like walking in dark even on a brightest day.

It's not bad. Bed is comfy! Convenient location close to Metro. The downside is the lighting in the room and the reception it's dark. Also, you have to leave your room keys in the reception everytime you go out since the keys has a big metal keychain that you don't want to carry around when you're touring the city.

Easy enough to check in late amd the luggage area was key to store our luggage before our train to london. Conveniently located near BK and common reatil shops like H&M. Some of area within 10 minutes walk was a bit dodgy, we returned one night to several blocks blocked off by police.

Admittedly this is a relatively budget hotel and I'm factoring this in to my comments. It's a relatively narrow building with a narrow, wooden panelled stairway all the way up to the top floor (there is also a small lift). That narrow staircase appeared to be the sole fire escape and being on the 5th floor, I felt distinctly uneasy at what I perceived to be the unsatisfactory provision of safe escape routes in case of a fire.

Ok hotel for a stay in brussels. Nearby metro (5 mins walk) makes getting around easy. The immediate locale of the hotel is a little rough. It's in a back alley with a Burger king at the end, so you have to wade through the crowd of Deliveroo drivers who loiter outside to get to the hotel. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and nice. All spoke good English. Hotel corridors were very dark. This is obviosuly the vibe they're going for - a romatic, boudoir type hotel. I nearly fell down the stairs getting out of the lift a couple of times though - so maybe not the safest. The room itself was clean enough, but dark and very warm. Even with all the lights on, i couldnt see in my suitcase - I had to use my phone torch to see in. There was no air conditioning so it was hard to escape the heat. There was a regular fan at least. There was a seating area outside, which had people talking and laughing loudly into the early hours. Even if I shut my window (which i didnt want to in the heat), this kept me awake on a couple of nights, even 4 floors up. Also the cold water was sporadic on whether it came out warm or cold. So I was sometimes having to drink warm water in a warm room. Not ideal. Bed was comfy - good firm pillows (which was a relief coming from Germany where the pillows are just flops).

To begin— the biggest issue for us was that the sink was leaking out of the back and onto the floor for the first day/evening/and next morning, and took 24 hours to be fixed after being reported only a couple hours after our check in— meaning we had to brush our teeth/wash our hands/wash our faces all in the bathtub. Essentially, when the tap was turned on, all of the water and liquids that went down the drain just came out the back and onto the floor. (I asked for a partial refund, even for a small amount, and was denied) I booked the Superior Double room, which was way more antiquated than anticipated, and also looked completely different from the photos and was floor to ceiling covered in floral yellow wallpaper instead of the black/dark one that is shown in photos for the Superior room. There was no shower as well (only a bath) or kettle/coffee/tea in the room, unfortunately. The shutters also didn’t open more than shown in the photo, so there was no “city view,” as advertised. The pool and outdoor area was the redeeming factor, as it was beautiful and super well maintained. Overall, quite disappointed since I expected more from a hotel quite far from the city centre also at this price.
