"If a traveler is one who can appreciate wonderful history of a given area within any town, who marvels at the architecture of the early 1900's, who respects the work to refurbish and maintain a nearly 100 year old home, is charmed by the landscape and relishes calm, civility and old luxury........this is the place to stay. Sans a few quirks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt transported back to the roaring '20's. The only think they we would have liked to have enjoyed, was a breakfast...

"We came from Michigan for a concert and the staff were so friendly and helpful! We had a small issue one day getting back into our room because the key scanner thing needed new batteries but they fixed it promptly! The rooms were super clean, beds were comfy, shower was hot, breakfast was great both days. If we’re ever back in Greensboro we will be staying here again!"

"The hotel was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were well prepared and delicious. We enjoyed the atmosphere at the bar and restaurant and spent a good part of the night there with guests. It is hard to find a comfortable hotel bed but ours was very comfortable. I will definitely be staying again."

"Hotel was clean and updated. Rooms we equipped with a good hairdryer (not those tiny ones), ample supply of Dove Brand Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Hand Soap and Body lotion. Also provided individually wrapped make-up remover wipes. Good breakfast buffet spread including muffins/bagels/bread, muffins, cereals, eggs, bacon, sausages, french toast, potatoes, yogurts, fruit, etc. Pool isn't very big, but nice to have. Staff was also helpful and friendly. If back in the area, we would stay here...

Upon arrival night agent couldn’t find the reservation after I had called and informed them I would be arrived after midnight, notes were in the computer which had night agent could not find but magical appeared when the shift changed.
