Don't let the outside fool you. This location was safe, very clean inside the room, and extremely comfortable. The two office personnel with whom I dealt, were very kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend if you want a place to stay while hiking in the area are visiting local attractions.

The location was great ,between Bryson City and Cherokee. Short distance to either place. Peaceful and quiet. Beautiful place on the river. Having a grill was a plus.

Very Clean and Very Reasonable

It was a great place to stay and was extremely reasonable. Although we didnt use it, they have a beautiful pool. Room was clean and shower had good water pressure.

This was a cute place. It's old but quaint! Lots of personality pretty grounds. Amazing creek in the back! Tucked away, about 6 miles from the Casino..

The owners are super sweet and helpful! Cheap and quick uber ride to Harrah's Cherokee Casino. Located right next to the river with a covered picknic area to hang out in and take in the sounds of the water. Highly recommed!

Fishing

Stayed here for five days with two other friends on a fishing trip in and around the area. The cabin was a nice older rustic cabin that was absolutely huge. Had all the amenities that we could need and was well kept up and very clean. The hosts were very polite and accommodating. And seeing elk walk through the yard was an added bonus. Would definitely stay there again.

Loved the location! Beautiful area at the river, with old fashioned gliders and a swing. People were grilling out and there was a fire pit. Don’t expect luxury it’s pretty rustic and could use some sprucing up outside (doors were all weathered and peeling paint) but inside was pretty good. The bathroom looked like it had been redone recently. No hairdryer. Small coffee maker makes about 2 cups. Bed was pretty comfortable pillows were kinda flat and there were only two. Parking right outside the door so that was convenient. Had to ring doorbell about three times waited about 5 minute for owners to come and let us in to check in but after that it was ok. Might stay again. Loved the view enough to visit again.

Lovely place!

We had a great stay here during our road trip. Owners were very welcoming. The place has a lovely rustic feel and is located in a stunning area! Had a nice little camp fire going by the river in the evening. Beds were the most comfy on our entire road trip! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

The rooms were stinking of roaches. The staff didnt seem very approchable and knowledgeable regarding the area around. Simming pool is closed suring cold days which is obvious. other than that its a quiet place and the sound of the river running was soothing if u ignore the dogs barking from boarding kennel next door.

Gentleman at the front desk was extremely accommodating. Beautiful plants outside of the motel was inviting & reminded me of a cozy front porch. My motel room was reminiscent of an older home but in a great way! If you were to visit your grandma's house. Very nostalgic. Room was clean. Beds were clean. Quiet area close to Cherokee Casino(10 minute straight, short drive) Room was priced great! Easily accessible to main road. Felt safe & sercure during our 2 night trip. I would definitely recommend staying.
