Maverick Apartments were excellent value for money, very well equipped (fridge, kettle, microwave, cooker and equipment) and well located, we found that all the main attractions on both sides of the river were within easy walking distance. Staff were very friendly.

Convenient location

Location of this hotel is excellent. We stayed end of August and it was hot given there wasnt a proper air conditioning unit. The hotel is an old palace which has been renovated inside. Lovely stay.

Hotel is convenient located in the 5th district near the danube river and the traditonal shopping street. Hotel was very comfortable and the hotel staff were very nice. Make sure to join their whatsapp groups to know more about their daily group activities. Which would be a great way to meet people.

Maverick Apartments are great, in a nice old building with tall ceilings There's a Lidl just outside which is convenient for last minute groceries Everything can be done on foot, else there's a Metro station just outside the building as well Friendly and helpful staff, a must stay in Budapest!

We would stay again.

The building is fantastic even if it could use some touch up. It is in a great section of town if you love seeing great historic buildings. It was a 'one bedroom' but there was also a loft and a couch that could open out to a bed so the room could hold as many as six people. The room was very large with a full kitchen. We would stay there again. The only negative thing was that the entry to the building was hard to find and once inside, it was hard to find the reception. But keep searching, it is worth it and try not be distracted by the architecture.

Upon arrival it was extremely difficult to get into the property. Once we got in and found reception, no one was there. Waited a while for someone to come and check us in. Apartment was OK but just OK. It was far far too hot all the time!!! When we eventually worked out how to turn heating off or down it was still too hot preventing us from sleeping. It is cleat to see that they've tried to make the most use of the small space with bed bring up on a mezzanine floor however steps up are extremely steep. Also no bed dude tables next to bed. Really this apartment is only suitable for 1 guest in my opinion. Severalliggts did not work, set up within apartment doesn't work well. However it was mostly clean and shower was nice. Apartment is in a good location and we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to see. Sadly the photos on ebookers make the apartment and building look much nicer than it is. We would not stay in this particular apartment or property again.
