On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. "Last minute trip so I can't complain about the price however, this is a very below average hotel. Needs some good TLC. Bathroom was usable but very run down and unserviced. Room was very hot overnight with windows that open around 20cm (however fans provided but no plugs next to the bed). We had dead wildlife hanging on the bird net outside our window on the 2nd floor. Overall it was a bed for the night but we won't be returning here anytime soon. Avoid for the time being and spring for The Grosvenor."

"Hotels.com asked for a breakfast specific review, so: Breakfast was a quick and simple hot and cold buffet with plenty of delicious things on offer. Decent coffees are an issue though as you have to pay extra, which seems a little old fashioned. and sometimes they don't switch the coffee machine on early enough."

Our room was fantastic with a view of the mill from bedroom window, bathroom was great for me being disabled, being able to walk in to a wet room was a huge bonus, not available at most hotels."

"We had a very enjoyable stay with the Hampton by Hilton Liverpool/John Lennon Airport. We had booked 2 nights stay to attend the Grand National at Aintree. The room was good, and everything was well catered for, tea and coffee, an abundance of Shower gel, shampoo, and lovely body lotion. We could not fault the Hotel at all, the staff were exceptionally helpful and very pleasant, and could not do enough. There were unfortunately an issue with the keys to the room - they were not working properly (these things happen) and each time we were accompanied to our room with no issue at all. We had breakfast and evening meal and the food was delicious each time. Exceptionally good was the parking and we could park our car literally outside the front entrance of the hotel. Will definitely return next year. "
