"The price was amazingly low so, of course, we were a bit suspect but the rating was okay & it was a convenient location for a quick overnight stay. Turns out, it was excellent. Bare bones but extremely clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds, & we could walk to a nice area for restaurants. That was a plus after a long day in the car. All in all, Ramblin’ Rose is just what we were looking for for a convenient, safe , & restful stay with a bit of nostalgia thrown in. "

"Great owners and very nostalgic old hotel. Dont expect the Hilton, you are staying in an old west town. Had some issues that the owners resolved promptly. close to Grand canyon skywalk area. Again, a very rustic 1800s hotel. Restaurant has really good breakfast. We typically stay there in November , less heat which we like. "

"When we got there the lobby stunk really bad of old cigarrette smell and when he opened office door it was worse. They live there and must chain smoke. The hall leading to rooms stunk badly of cigerrettes smelleven thou non smoking the air in hall only worked on low and they shut the other air unit so at 115 and 117 it was miserably hot, and the air in our room only worked on low. "Very nice brand new property, with some small kinks to work out. Very quiet even though close to the freeway. Would have liked to have been able to use the pool but it was unheated, but hot tub was great. Beds are pretty high and need sheets that fit them better. We will be back!"
