The hotel is old, but I know the folks that own it do their best. The television didn’t work, but the young man in charge brought up a replacement. Very nice guy.
The wi-fi needs a password that isn’t provided at check in.
The bed was comfortable, and the room was definitely clean, which is a real positive.
There is an ice machine, but no ice bucket in the room.
One other positive is that there was plenty of hot water. The problem is that the shower head is so low, only a small child can wash their hair without struggling.
It’s an inexpensive place to stay in a small town, and the people that run it are trying their best.
This is the most expensive cheap hotel I've ever stayed at. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. My room was quiet. The AC worked great, but I had to weigh down the curtains bc they billowed out bc of the AC right under them. The room was clean and the fridge and microwave worked. The location is great- I could walk to the gas station and a restaurant.
It's just super old and run down. I'm fine with that bc I just needed a clean place to sleep for the night, but I feel it is overpriced by about $15-20. So I dont feel like I got a good value. If you are ok with that, I highly recommend.

Stayed but was not satisfied
The guy that checked me in was really friendly and nice, the room was clean but they had some bugs in the bathroom and I was very uneasy about sleeping that night, I don’t think I’ll be visiting them again.
This property is just what you're looking for if you're looking for a clean, bug, drama, issue free place to spend the nite. Nothing fancy...at ALL! It's a typical old roadside motel. But, while very aged, my room was clean (tho the towels were rough,) the bed was comfortable, and the tv & heat worked. It would be nice if there was a coffee pot, but there was a microwave & I THINK a fridge. I didnt use either, tho. Front desk & staff were kind. It's a $50 room for $70, but that's ok since the upcharge keeps the riffraff out, and so gives us a safe, clean, reasonable place to sleep. There's a store & Diner (The Dugout,) adjacent to the property, and both were a blessing!
