"My husband and I were not so sure we had made a good choice as our cab drove us to this destination and the last 1/2 mile was a dirt road. It’s in a very remote location so we would definitely recommend anyone staying here has a vehicle! The property is expansive with gardens and grapevines. Rita, the owner, went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The 2 nights we stayed she cooked us delicious & authentic homemade meals, complete with wine that is bottled on the property. "Hotel was an easy 15 min walk from station and about the same into the historic center. Room was spacious with a balcony and good bathroom. Staff super welcoming. The breakfast had scrambled eggs and a variety of cheeses plus lots of sweets. Would recommend and stay again if in Ferrara."
