"Great place to stay. Clean rooms and close to restaurants that are in walking distance. The Tavern next door was excellent. So much fun and good food."
"I stayed at the hotel with my daughter for a short mommy/daughter spa getaway. We had a wonderful time at the inn and at the spa. Everyone was very kind and courteous at the spa and at the front desk. I enjoyed the coffee offered all day. Our room was beautiful. We had a king room with fireplace and balcony. I was able to sit outside on the balcony with my coffee and a book. The bathroom included a jacuzzi style tub, but neither of us used it (not sure why). My daughter did wish there was a pool and a hot tub at the inn for use, that really was her only complaint/wish. You can tell the inn is older, but very well kept. We did not eat at the onsite restaurant only because my daughter has a gluten intolerance so we found local spots for food. Small menu, but looked good. I would absolutely recommend the Inn and plan to go back again for sure."
"What a gem of a property! I came to see what the other reviewers were talking about and it was worth it -- they kept the footprint of a typical motel from days gone by but updated it to suit the times and it was well done! looks like it was updated not too long ago. My other fave part of this property is the ingenious architecture enabling every room to have a lake view. It was really nice to watch the sunrise from my bed in the morning. We had two issues while there - one, we were awaken at 5am by trucks unloading supplies to the property restaurant... they were so loud it sounded like bombs going off. Very inconsiderate. The other very real issue is the bathroom -- it has no vents which means a steamy wet room and a bathroom smell eventually. So you try to fix it by leaving the bathroom door open TO YOUR BEDROOM and so the slight smell of the bathroom waffles into your living area. AND FOR THE OWNERS -- you really want to invest in a ventilator for your bathrooms or soon enough you will find the bathrooms (and eventially, adjacent walls to the main units) moldy. And when that happens, it's going to be a more expensive maintenance expense for your property. Good luck! Love your place otherwise! (p.s. location is great - just a short ride 5 mins from town)"
