"I'm not sure why the reviews on this place were so harsh. I only stayed in one room for one night, so I can only go by that. The staff was great. Easy to work with, fantastic conversation. The room was quite reasonable. Interesting layout; all the essential things were clean. The lampshade needs dusting, and the room had that sun-beating-in-it-all-day-without-an-air-conditioner stale smell when I first arrived. Opening the window and turning on the AC helped. Otherwise, a very comfortable stay. Definitely recommended if you need a place for an overnight, maybe solo or with a partner. Easy parking, easy location, so much more affordable than the chain hotels. You could check in after 10 pm, which can be a struggle with some smaller Canadian places. Much appreciated."
