"It is a magnificent property with great facilities. Well located enough. But Plattenberg is a plain soulless residential seaside town. No quality in terms of restaurants.
The property is closed to shops, cafés and beach (if you don’t mind the very steep hike back). "

"Loved the guest lodge. Perfect location, with a great eatery next door ! Staff very friendly and really helpful. Honesty bar a great touch. Breakfast good. We has a Standard room with no air con only a fan which was when it was hot made it quite stuffy in the room. Would recommend guest house though and only wish we could have stayed longer. "

"Nette Unterkunft, die gut gelegen in der Innenstadt von Plettenberg liegt. Sehr sauber und das Personal ist freundlich. Das Frühstück ist gut und es gibt alles was man braucht. "

Frühstück unterdurchschnittlich, keine kindergerechte Ausstattung im Restaurant (kein Hochstuhl), ungeschultes Personal, kein warmes Wasser, Gas-Kamin hat nicht funktioniert, Teile unserer Kleidung sind verschwunden …"

"The guest house was lovely, really friendly staff and good location. However, overall I was quite disappointed, I had expected a proper hotel and a much more luxurious experience given we paid over $500 per night. I wonder and hope this was a holiday price and other guests aren’t charged as much "

"What made our stay was Mercia - she was charming, calm & warm.
Although the new owner is upgrading we had issues with our coffee making facilities in our room which we understand is in hand.
Glorious breakfast,and couple of hours by the pool.
We will for sure go back! 💯 "
