We didn't cook, so I don't know how well the stove or microwave worked. There is an AC/heater unit in the bedroom that worked well. "The owner/manager of this hotel was extremely helpful and friendly. He speaks English very well and shared his considerable knowledge of the area, answering our many questions. The hotel's location in this lovely town is perfect -- in a quiet place but steps from all the big monuments and sights. We definitely will stay again if we are in the area."
