"We loved this place! The overall setting was stunning, our room was nice and comfortable with the beautiful views of the beach and the pools. The food was delicious and the setting was very romantic. The complimentary shuttle to the nearby town about 20 minutes away was very helpful. The water level on the beach was a little too shallow for our taste, but we still enjoyed it. Two faithful, well behaved dogs on the property had surely added yo the atmosphere! We would love to return!"

The Spa was superb with all the different types of treatments available. "I was a solo traveller visiting Mauritius for the first time. The resort was perfect, the beach is stunning, the water activities were great and there was just so many places to just relax on sun loungers around the resort and near the pool. What made my stay special was the excellent staff who were really welcoming and friendly, full of smiles and joy that brightened each day. The breakfast was great loads of choices and also a variety of places for dinner too. I would definitely recommend this hotel and return here on another trip in the future! Name check and thank you for some of the staff that made my stay special and personally ensured I was ok throughout the week - Michael haffner, Nirma, Riaa, Delores, Alisha, Uma prasad, Vishnav, Avishka, Anielle, Cassandra, Monisha, Elvis and Navin."

"Amazing hotel and rooms are great value for money in terms of size. However I think if guests are wanting more from food they perhaps need to be aware it’s quality over quantity in this hotel. Also please note other bigger hotels have more free kayaks and boats this has 1 so it gets booked quickly Other hotels have at least 20 boats for use"

"I loved how eco conscious the property was, refillable toiletries, water stations and paper straws only! The beach was lovely, staff at boat house really helpful. The food was al a carte and lots of vegetarian and fish options which we liked. The drinks are on the expensive side but I think they good value for quality food makes up for this. We did full board and I would reccomend it. You can see there are some minor things to iron out like I didn’t like trying to be sold on booking dinner at the chefs table restaurant all the time. We used the spa on the last day even with discount this is pricey but the full body massage was amazing!"

"the room i had was ground floor garden view, the gardens were nice sitting on patio having a beer was relax full, the room itself was bigger than usual had a tv but channels were very limited we actually never watched it after first time. bathroom was also big bath and shower few personal items ,storage for clothes was fine just shelves little hanging space, room was clean ,now it does need a bit of tlc, shower screen needs a good cleaning house keeping can take up to 5 o'clock to clean room sometimes forgot clean towels stairs to upstairs apartment are wooden can hear people coming and going, overall it passes for 3 star hotel room, just make sure if you don't like stairs ask for ground floor, the room they first gave us was on third floor no lift, they change us next day after we told them"
