"Staff were helpful, the room was clean and parking was on site which was nice. The grounds around the hotel were quite nice which had many orange and lemon trees loaded with fruit.
Pool was being cleaned when we were there and we would not go into the pool even though staff said that we could. It was quite dirty.
The hotel is about a 20 minute ride into the heart of Coimbra. We would recommend a taxi or Uber since parking is very hard to find in Coimbra.

"All staff we dealt with from signing in, the lounge and the dining room were amazing. Thank you for all you did to make our stay such a wonderful experience.
The palace is definitely out of the way to get to but is worth the drive. We were there in March so the gardens were just beginning to come alive but we’re still impressive.
Wifi is not available in the bedrooms but is available in the bar/lounge area.

"Also erst einmal vorweg, das Personal war super , freundlich und sehr kompetent! Leider ist das Hotel mit seiner Ausstattung sehr in die Jahre gekommen, so das die Sterne nicht mehr gerechtfertigt sind, von Schimmel im Fenster Bereich, bis zum nostalgischen Bad, nach den werbe Fotos hätte ich mehr erwartet, ganz abgesehen vom hygienisch vernachlässigten spa , das ich dann doch lieber nicht in Anspruch genommen habe "
