"My family and I look forward to our vacation to SPI every year. We stayed at Holiday Inn resort last year and this year for the fact that with young children one of the amenities advertised on this Hotels website was the Game Room…. Sadly, all the days we were there last year the Game room was out of order. We were told that someone would be out to fix the next day (on day one of our vacation), unfortunately it wasn’t fixed during our entire stay. We shook that off, and planned our vacation for this year at the same hotel. Surely, that amenity would be now working (so we thought)…. Fast forward to this summer and the first question I asked was if the Game room was working this year. The lady at the front desk said it was. However, come to find out…. It was not working AGAIN this year during our entire stay. Kids were once again disappointed. When I asked the lady at the front desk when she anticipated it would be up and running again, she said someone would be out the next day to fix it (same answer we were given last year). That did not happen. I asked her if there was a manager whom I could speak with about it, she said that the Game Room was run by another company and the hotel was separate from that. I was a bit confused why this amenity would be one of the highlights on this hotel’s website if it’s never working. I personally wouldn’t want to hype something up if it’s never working. I really really want to love this place, undecided, to come back next year."
