Nice, clean, modern

Very good value for money, clean and comfortable. Good as a "base" for hiking. They don't speak English so that could be a problem, but sign language and smiles got me through.

Best hotel experience to date

We had a wonderful time at this hotel, best of any holiday to date. Situated in the mountains in beautiful cangas des onis, it is an excellent location for enjoying all the picos de Europa has to offer. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They had very little English, but that didnt make much difference, as they went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. We also enjoyed wonderful food in the restaurant El Molin downstairs, which it turns out, is all part of the same family run business. Such a wonderful welcome by Angel, who speaks fluent English, with translated menus and dietary requirements catered for with no problem. All in all, a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

Slight misunderstanding about breakfast

Enjoyed hotel, despite staff not knowing whether or not it served breakfast. It told me only in my room, yet I then found other guests having breakfast in the small lounge area

Superb

For us the Hotel (price versus Rooms) are Superb. The Location of the hotel just in front of the Sella River. We had a Room with a Balcony towards the River. It was very nice. Cangas de Onis is perfect location to move around the beautiful Picos de Europa. You can drive to the coast of Asturias as well and also we drive up to Santader and Cuevas de Altamira in (Cantabria). We stay 6 days in April, it was raining, but superb. For the summer it this area should be fantastic.
