Khách sạn Cangey

"This hotel is located about 20 minutes from Amboise on a large piece of property! It has an old well kept main building where breakfast and dinner are offered along with rooms. We stayed in the garden suites * Mimoasa and it was spacious with a king size bed. A fridge would have been nice as would a safe but apparently they are being included in the upgrade. Given that there is no convenience store or grocery near by the fridge would be very useful. The pool was lovely and we played golf on the...

"A cozy hotel with great breakfast, although with some visible wear-and-tear of the furniture/property. Not sure how deep their direct engagement is with the one-starred Michelin restaurant on the property, but the restaurant did not grant us a proper apology or some kind of discount for the 3 small bullets that was found in the duck meat. Biting onto one could have cracked a tooth or affect a filling; didn’t happen but it’s about principles. First time we encounter such a lack of response from...

"I would have reviewed the hotel slightly higher but for the dishonesty of management. We booked a room on Expedia that was described as having a yard. Upon check-in, they tried to give us a second floor room. When I stated that we booked a room with a yard(which would be ground floor), I was told that the hotel did you have any room with a yard. We were then given a ground floor room, but it was much smaller than the room I had booked as pictured on Expedia. I was also later told that I would...

"What a great stay. A highlight on for me and my wife on our trip to the Loire Valley. Such great history and the owner and staff were great. Definitely would stay again when we visit the area again. Merci!"

"Terrible. Bugs and aunts. No one in reception. Very dirty. The staff are not nice."

"Very enjoyable stay. 25 minute walk to the centre of Amboise. Pleasant staff. Comfortable room. Only criticism was grout needed cleaning in the bathroom."

"It has been very challenging to get the car in and out the hotel parking. We have had our car scratched as the entrance gate is rather narrow, in a narrow road, without sufficient space in the road to turn and with a surprisingly high flow of incoming cars putting pressure on hotel guests trying to get the car in. Advanced notice of this difficulty and help of parking will be very helpful to international visitors who might not be used to such a parking issue."

"Calme, chambre charmante et petit déjeuner agréable."

"Elegant, clean, exquisite, and unbelievably beautiful-right on the Loire River and under an actual castle. The staff was incredibly attentive. Hakim was wonderful and offered ideas for favorite sights in Amboise. Valet parking. The restaurants were about a 10 minute walk. It is notable that the walk to and from the active restaurant area is very dark, unlit, at night. The ONLY issue. It was a fairy tail visit."

"Personnel très accueillant et sympathique. Cadre magnifique pour séjour au calme en amoureux ou pour faire la fête sans déranger le voisinage."

"Great location, staff & breakfast."

"Exceptional quality in a beautiful setting. Amazing place to stay for chateau lovers."

"Très bel endroit L'équipe charmante"

"This is by far the nicest hotel in the city centre. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. It is within walking distance to the entire core area. Very quaint place with a pretty garden and pool, which is a rarity for hotels in this area. Would return for sure."
