We were a plane full of holiday travelers just off-loaded at 8 pm and told by BA - here is your luggage, we will leave in 12 hours, good luck finding accommodations for yourself. Using Expedia I was able to get a room at this hotel pretty quickly. Others in flight not so lucky, hotels were booking up fast as our flight was not the only unexpected aircraft to divert to Bari. You can catch the 12 bus and go into Bari centrale with your credit card. Very easy to use the bus. We walked into the Torre Mare and enjoy dinner and the plaza. It’s about a 20 min walk there. Swimming in the ocean to the right when you walk out of the property is very nice. "
