Great place to stay in Capetown if you want to be close to the ocean walk, restaurants and in a neighborhood, instead of a big hotel. Great bed and Breakfast at a reasonable cost. Loved it!

I absolutely loved everything about Olaf's Guest House. From the moment I arrived and was greeted by the warm & welcoming staff I knew I was in for a wonderful stay. My room was spacious and bright with excellent bedding, nice toiletries, fruit basket and wooden(not plastic) hangers. The room and air conditioning was whisper quiet...you awoke to birdsong. The breakfast is the BEST I have ever had in any guest house that I have stayed in. Olaf's is ideally located just sets away from the seafront and near numerous restaurants and shops. Do not hesitate for a moment to book this special place. Enjoy!

This is not a 4-star guest house

Our expectations were much higher for a 4-star guest house. The room was old and outdated. The breakfast was moderate, nothing special. The pool is small and not very clean. However, the location was very good.

Bra guest house

Den var ett guest house som skapar en familjär stämning, bra frukost, med varmt alternativ. Fin öppen utomhusplats med liten pool, för frukost och relax. Vi var fyra, rummet lite litet men spaciöst badrum. Samtidigt var vi inte på rummet annat än när vi skulle sova. Jag rekommenderar olafs.

Perfect place to stay!

This is a great plae to stay. If you stay in Cape Town, this place is ideal to discover that area. Clean rooms, good breakast and super friendly people. Especially Hazel is an absolute asset to this place. She "runs the show". I come back.

Ein Gästehaus mit deutschem Besitzer was man sofort am deutschem Frühstück gemerkt hat.Da in Kapstadt Wassermangel besteht war es für mich nicht nachvollziehbar das ich beim Duschen das meiste Wasser benötigte um eine einigermassen auszuhaltende Wassertemperatur zu bekommen.Diese konnte man sehr schlecht einstellen.Wie mir ein anderer Gast erzählte wäre das aber nicht in allen Zimmern.Die Mitarbeiterinnen sind alle sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit.

Lovely, relaxing stay despite tiny niggles

A lovely relaxing stay in a surprisingly quiet part of bustling Sea Point. Friendly staff, lovely breakfast, safe and secure. Only a couple of minor quibbles: during the day there seemed to be a lot of shouting between management and lower-ranked staff. I don't know who was the perpetrator, but it was uncomfortable to hear. The bed was very comfortable, but the wooden headboard was set c.2–3 inches away from the wall, meaning that the slightest movement caused loud banging on the wall. Easily fixed by stuffing a cushion between wall and headboard, but something of an oversight. Despite these two issues, I'll still give Olaf's five stars because it was such a lovely stay overall.

Lovely place in Cape Town SeaPoint area

A very comfortable and friendly guesthouse in a quiet area close to the sea. I am a 64 year old woman traveling alone wanting to see Cape Town. This was a perfect place for my taste, not being interested in the night life scene. It is close enough to the city center to take a reasonable taxi ride if wanted but far from the noise. Accommodations were very cleaning aesthetic, excellent breakfast and an area to pick up munchies (on the honor system) at night.

Excellent value for money - good place!

we enjoyed our stay at Olafs guesthouse. Good service and breakfast, WIFI worked fine, good buss connections to city centre and suuroundings. Foodshops and restaurants close by.

Nettes Guest House im Stadtteil Sea Point

Das Hotel befindet sich in einem lebendigen Stadtteil und ist nicht weit von der Küste entfernt. Restaurants und Bars sind direkt um die Ecke. Zudem befindet sich eine Haltestelle der City Sightseeing Tour (empfehlenswert) in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Hotelpersonal ist freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Zum Frühstück gibt es kalte und warme Speisen sowie frische Brötchen. Alles in allem - sehr empfehlenswert!

Knusse uitstraling, heerlijk en voor een guesthouse uitgbreid ontbijt, rustige omgeving maar eel dicht bij drukke straat wzar je makkelijk taxi kan krijgen. Vriendelijk personeel, die alle moeite gedaan hebben om mijn veregten telefoon naar Nederland op te sturen
