"The rooms are clean and comfortable. The sinks vary a lot room by room, with some that are perfect and others that barely trickle any water at all. The upstairs shower is much better than the downstairs one. Breakfasts are great! And parking is always available in their lot or nearby."

"The location is good, but the listing did not clearly mention that this unit is a room in the basement with a shared common area and shared bathroom (there seem to be other options in the guesthouse that are not in the basement). The bathroom door also made a loud squeaky noise, which was not ideal for a shared unit, and the bedsheets seemed a bit worn or not fully clean. That said, the staff communication was friendly, and we appreciate them hosting us."

"Well located guesthouse close to many of the sights of central Reykjavik. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Communication ahead of our stay was good but we did not see any staff on sight. Two items to be mindful of. There is no lift and the staircase is steep so be mindful of this as you need to be able to carry your luggage up the stairs. Also the curtains in the room are transparent meaning in the summer light comes in throughout the night. Nonetheless a good guesthouse that...
