"It was great. It is a motel, so your door does open to the parking lot. However, it is tucked away just enough that it felt safe and clean. A small gathering of businesses is a two minute walk away that includes a collection of different food possibilities, which was convenient. Overall, we would be happy to stay here again."

This location is so ideal when it comes to places to eat, places of interest, all within 20 min. from this hotel. Lastly, surroundings at this location feels very safe. The first associate that helped was nice, but they gave us an ADA room, which we didn’t ask for and had trouble using certain things since it’s for people with different abilities so that was frustrating. Then during check out the lady said she would email my receipt and there was no email attached apparently so when I called to get my copy the lady over the phone said the lady who checked us out on (5/30/26) should have seen that and asked for my email. "Not a pleasant experience. I booked 2 rooms for my family. The microwave was not working in one room, the pillows were all half size so we could not sleep properly, the breakfast items were not being refilled so a lot of items were out and we were not able to enjoy breakfast and the breakfast host was not at all hospitable. Probably would not be returning to this hotel and not even recommending to my friends."

"Staff is amazing here. Very nice room in the Marina Tower. Note - the two towers are not right next to each other. My sister was in the tower further away which was a bit of a bummer but they do have someone to shuttle you back and forth. It’s a very minor inconvenience."

"The Wyndham San Diego Bayside is very conveniently located and is right across from the bay. The hotel has decent amenities including a pool and fitness center. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room had a fantastic view of the bay and the bed was very comfortable. "Although the hotel was nice, I think the hotel should be transparent about charging for parking. The hotel charges $30 per night for parking. However, there is free public parking connected to the hotel. Also on the last night of our stay, we had neighbors that were very loud, they were sitting outside playing loud music, talking loud, practically having a party.
