Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa
Expensive but worth it. The Suite and Spa were just we needed to feel like we had a bit of a break. Falling asleep with the sound of the waves and waking up to a beautiful sunrise was something few hotels can offer.

The Monterey Hotel
The hotel is in a great location. They put us in a small room with a little window which faced an exterior hallway at foot-level of the people walking by outside our room. Anyone could see directly into the room where the bed is. We did choose the lower priced room, so I guess "you get what you pay ...

Carmel Bay View Inn
Very convenient. Nice breakfast. Parking good. Ours was covered and close to car. Affordable for Carmel. We did not need it, but did notice there was no A/C in our room. It never got above the high 60s at the beginning of May. Not sure how the summer would be though. Would definitely definitely return, ...
