"I’m struggling to understand what the $30/day “resort fee” actually covered. There were none of the amenities you’d expect—no valet, no room service, and no housekeeping during our stay. We also couldn’t connect to Prime Video or Netflix on the TV, which is pretty standard at most places we stay, so that was frustrating. I called the front desk to request extra coffee (since there’s no room service), and it never showed up. On top of that, there was ongoing renovation that wasn’t clearly communicated ahead of time, which definitely impacted the overall experience. That said, on a positive note, the room itself was very updated, modern, and extremely clean. Given the lack of services and the inconvenience, the resort fee feels completely unjustified. If it’s meant to cover something specific, it certainly wasn’t clear or noticeable during our stay. We WILL NOT be returning."

"This hotel is just off the strip, but a very quiet and beautiful location. Rooms are clean and comfy. Place fills up and even tho it was full it was very quiet."

"they shouldn’t charge as much as they do- the waterfront location doesn’t make up fo their total lack of quality, cleanliness and professionalism. the room had empty plastic bottles and wrappers underneath it from previous tenants. the bed had a detached bottom frame and the carpet was not clean . it’s been renovated but it’s more like a drag coat of paint which helps but doesn’t make up for the run down-look the property has. it’s not a horrible place, it’s just not worth the money they ask. standard king room should be 80-100 max no more. anything above that it’s a rip off. there are better waterfront properties on kings beach for the same amount of money the crown motel asks."

"Although the stay was comfortable and nice, the blanket felt too light like a summer blanket, so it wasn’t very cozy. I was also disappointed that the jacuzzi wasn’t working, and I had specifically booked a larger room, but the ventilation fan on the exterior wall was so loud that I couldn’t sleep. However, the breakfast was really delicious, and the staff were friendly and pleasant."
