Lodge was nice, though disappointed to not get much of a lake view. It was mostly clean however floor was not, with debris and crumbs left and sweets under the raised sofa. Room was nice. Food was good. Some issues. Toilet kept running had to keep pressing the button to get it to stop. Room was advertised as a king bed, instead got two singles pushed together. Some things on the breakfast buffet weren't refilled from the day before.

Ten minutes drive away are the amazing resorts of Silverdale and Arnside ,just as enjoyable as a day in the Lakes.... Be warned you will have to wait 1 hour for fish and chips at Arnside on busy summer weekends, but worth the wait as taste was super
