"Wszystko zgodne z opisem. Pyszne irlandzkie śniadanie. Duży, przestronny pokój. Piękna okolica. W opisie przydała by się informacja, że dostępne samodzielne parkowanie."
"We loved our stay and Helen was very kind and easy to get in touch with. Would definitely stay here again. Location was exactly what we were looking for. Close to larger cities but nestled in the countryside with gorgeous views from every window in the house."
"An incredible experience and one of the most beautiful areas I have ever had the privilege to be in. This hotel has been run by the same family since the 1930s and their dedication to hospitality shines through. The food in the restaurant is extraordinary and is prepared with love. You will enjoy the grounds, the bar, the sitting room and everything about Gougane Barra."
Shantalla West Cork Farmhouse With Hot Tub & Sauna
10/10 Excellent
"I cannot recommend this place enough. We needed a space to accommodate three adults and to prep snacks and meals for our long days in the car. Located about 20 min east of Bantry, it was far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the country, but convenient for grocery store runs and restaurants. We stayed for 3 days, using it as our base for Mizen Head, Sheep's Head, and the Beara Peninsula drives, worked perfectly. Gorgeously renovated, with all the modern amenities, yet all of the charm of an old Irish farm house. Lots of little extra touches make it even more special, snacks, treats, and drinks left for us. Having house slippers in the bathroom. Plus every hair styling tool you could want! I was worried we'd be cold at night, but the comforters kept us nice and toasty. The view out of the kitchen window was stunning every morning, and such a lovely way to start the day. The information was easy to find for how to operate all of the appliances in the home. We enjoyed both the sauna and hot tub, great way to relax in the evenings after lots of hiking and driving. Would absolutely stay here again. Things to keep in mind, the some of the doorways have low thresholds, which is part of the charm, just something to be aware of, as my 6'3 boyfriend discovered a few times the hard way. One bathroom is upstairs, and one downstairs. Having a washer dryer on site was also a huge bonus. Great place for adults, or families."
