"I highly recommend the Historian Inn. My room was very clean and comfortable and had a somewhat quaint feel, which was carried over from the warm, charming lobby. The staff was very nice and capable. About that clean room, I note that even though I didn't have a pet, I was given a pet friendly room, since all the no pet rooms were taken. And the room I got was still perfectly clean. "

"We loved that the back door leads right to the beach. It is a family friendly place and it was so nice to be able to let the kids right outside our room. The pool and hot tub was very nice and clean. Everyone is super friendly. It was very nice to have a kitchen in the room so we could save some money on food. The room got a little warm because there is no AC, but there were fans. The pillows were not very comfy, would definitely bring pillows. "

"We could tell when we arrived that the owner & employees take a lot of pride in their property. The grounds are beautiful! Unique flowering shrubs and flowers everywhere. Super clean and friendly staff. Very nice pool area. The room was clean and adequate. Being that the property is older, the bathroom is quite small. The bed was very comfortable, always a plus. Easy walk to restaurants casinos and the base of the Heavenly gondola. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and we will return."
