"This is a motel, not a hotel or an inn. If you are used to any type of hotel services, you will not get them at this motel. The clerk at check in was less than helpful and not friendly at all. When I made the reservation, I was not provided with information that there was no elevator. I had an 86 yo traveler with me with limited movement, who had to walk up and down a full flight of stairs upon arrival and departure for 3 days. There was no lower level room available. We visited in summer months so we did not need the fireplace but it did make the room feel very cozy - we enjoyed the cookies at check in as well as the coffee and tea bar in the room. Everything "front desk" is thru text and calls which takes a while but not too long, similar to a hotel response time, not a deal breaker. Would stay again due to price to quality. Outside it looks dated but clean and nice inside. 1 star taken away due to noise. "Woman at the front desk possibly the owner was absolutely amazing. We got there a bit early and without questions she gave us the keys to our room. She was so friendly. The place was clean and appeared to be extremely modern and newly renovated. The location could not be better we walked everywhere. I will be returning and staying here again."

"Had to remind the bartender the drinks were on happy hour. The shuttle on the 2 days we wanted to use it. they said wasn't running ( Sat, Sun). There steakhouse was not open this whole time we where there , didn't have that on there web sight. And had to look at a stack of old sheets outside my room."
