"Beautiful property and had stayed there previously with great experiences but a disappointing experience this time. Kitchen in unit had a lingering overpowering food odor. Floors in unit were sticky. Dinner reservations at the resort restaurant were not honored due to minimal staff availability. Went back two different times and were told they were short staffed and could not accommodate us. Even offered to do a take out order but kitchen could not handle it."

"Came here for my honeymoon and was not disappointed! Great view from our 3rd floor balcony of the entire lake and the mountains. They left us a bottle of wine and some chocolates as well as a sweet note about our honeymoon. It was within close walking range of shopping centers and restaurants, which we definitely took advantage of. Such a nice stay!"

"We had a fantastic stay at Black Bear Lodge. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning wooden interior that gives it a real mountain lodge feel. It was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was ideal too, tucked away in a quiet setting but only a short drive from local shops, restaurants and other amenities. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"DO NOT BOOK HERE IF YOU WANT SECURITY!! We were LOCKED OUT, our door code was changed WITH NO PRIOR NOTICE/ WARNING. I checked my email, my expedia messages, and my phone messages and received NO NOTICE about them changing it. All of our belongings were in the room. First night our code worked fine, next day we were out driving all day and were super tired just to come back at midnight and find our code stopped working. I called their “24/7 support line” multiple times and NO ONE ANSWERED for...

"Looks like it was a very quick remodel, has nails on the carpet trim that were partially in and bent over. My 4 year old could take them out. Also had an ant problem"

"If you are looking for a simple place to flop for the night then this place may work for you. I have travelled all over the country and have stayed in some 2-3 star places but not like this one. It would take to much space to list all the things that were very poor about this property. Chris the front desk clerk was the best part of the stay. He acknowledged our need to move to the first level and he accommodated that beautifully. I can honestly say that the parking lot appeared to have not...

"Breakfast was simple. Donut, fruit, boiled eggs, coffee. Its an older lodge, but the room we got had a little kitchen. The bathroom was nice and the separate bedroom was very nice."
