My favorite hotel in Cartagena!

Its a very cute hotel on a very peaceful street but half block to the Bovedas, traditional artcraft market and the city walk which you can walk on top around them. Very clean, professional staff, they will help you with anything they can. There breakfast is a la carte and is included, excelent.

Hotel Kartaxa has good qualities

The Hotel Kartaxa in Cartagena is a charming boutique hotel that offers a blend of historical charm and modern comfort What I liked most about it was: 1) location -it’s situated in the old city, close to historic sites, restaurants, events, nightlife, but also accessible to beaches and other trips. Its closeness to Plaza de San Diego is a must 2) Comfortable and quite accommodations with nice amenities 3) Beautiful infrastructure, located in a refurbished historical building with a primer retreats as library, swimming pool and solarium 4) Excellent service and friendly staff 5) Good cost benefit

I was only here for one night before flying out early the next morning. The hotel location is spectacular. However my room didn’t have a window and was very basic. The bathroom was small and the AC blasts on the bed all night.

Stayed at this hotel in Provenza, Medellín and absolutely loved it. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of all the restaurants and bars, yet still felt completely safe. The room was small but had everything I needed, spotlessly clean, and the staff was truly awesome. Highly recommend!

Great location!

Greatly located in the Centro Histórico & near Serrezuela shopping mall. Nice breakfast included, attentive staff. It has a tiny pool, good enough for the heat though.

Boutique hotel situated perfectly inside the Old City. Some of the hottest restaurants, coffee shops, and clothing store located a minute walk from the hotel but it's quiet at night. Love the breakfast options as well and the staff service was superb!

Great spot in Old City

The staff was great and so was the breakfast. The location is convenient but just outside the center enough to be quiet. Access to purified and chilled water was huge. No wasted plastic bottles.

We loved our stay at Hotel Kartaxa. It is just on the outskirts of the noise in San Diego plaza but it is also just a quick walk to the plaza. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. They arrange anything you need such as taxis and day trips. Breakfast was delicious and not just toast and bagels, real breakfast. We will definitely return to Cartagena and when we do, we will stay here. Gracias to the entire staff for making our stay there perfect !!!!!

It's quit cozy cleaned hotel with polite stuff, but when we called asking recommendation for transportation from airport to hotel, they send the car and charged 100 000 pesos and it was ridiculous because taxi cost 25000 everywhere. on a way back I payed 25000 pesos for taxi So don't ask hotel reception about transport.

The driver we booked thru the hotel did not show at the airport, later claimed he waited for us 45 mins. We had paid for 2 beds in each room, but one had a queen bed - they couldnt resolve it until the nexg day. Our air conditioning didnt work and they were hesitant to help. Finally they brought up a new remote which resolved the issue. The breakfast staff was wonderful althouhh options were very limited.

Ótimo hotel, com ótima localização e ótimas instalações. A única coisa que pode melhorar é o serviço de café da manhã, que não tem a opção de self-service. No mínimo o café e os pães poderiam ficar disponíveis para o hóspede se servir, sem depender do serviço dos funcionários. No nosso caso, a falta do self-service nos impediu de tomar o café da manhã no primeiro dia, em que tínhamos passeio cedo, pois os funcionários precisam anotar o pedido, levar a cozinha, preparar e depois servir. Fica a sugestão.

Si deseas disfrutar de una ciudad que conserva el estilo antiguo....está propiedad nos encantó pues su ubicación queda en ese entorno y apartada del asiduo de los vendedores....el personal súper amable y si desean hacer los turs con ellos puedes organizarlos.. el desayuno muy bien elaborado y el personal muy profesional.... gracias por tan agradable estancia
