Hotels near Cartier Station, Montreal

"No soap in shower (although there was shampoo and conditioner). Some of the front desk staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and breakfast a bit expensive (but great quality food) but overall this motel was good value for the money and appeared as though significant renovations were currently underway. Shuttle to airport was great and pool was very nice"

"Location was ok, not too far from the metro. The room was big enough, the windows are turning inside the hotel which was a first to me but not that bad. Very quiet and clean "

"The rooms were old and extremely dated, although it looked like they did some work in the bathroom. There is NO AIR CONDITIONING and no air circulation of any kind. There was a rusty old radiator in the corner that was warm. The walls are paper thin, and you can hear toilets flushing in the rooms on either side of you. All sound from the hallway will be noticeable and will wake you up if it's loud enough. I had a troupe of people waiting for a shuttle outside my ground floor door and sleeping became impossible with their noise. I had to call the front desk about it. The rooms have windows that face the hallway - similar to a motel (it kind of is really, it's just the outside hallways are enclosed). Any hallway sound will be inside you room. I got ZERO SLEEP while I was there for my one night. The property is in the middle of an industrial park, the and scenery is loading ramps for various businesses. There is no restaurant, bar, or any such amenities. The vending machines were pretty much empty. I would advise to only stay there if you have an over-night layover at the nearby airport, as it does offer a 2-way shuttle and the price is relatively cheap for an airport hotel/motel. I would not advise staying there for any other reason."
