"Great manager, she is kind, knowledgeable, funny, and easy to reach. The place was clean and good location. Great for those on a budget not needing every amenity. If driving, back into parking lot. Grill currently not available due to building of an outside sitting area. Not sure you can walk to marina in 20 minutes, nor would I given the hill, but you definitely cannot walk to the park. "The views from the restaurant are stunning. We split our trip between the beach and volcano so we had a 4 night stay at Gaia for the beach and a 4 night stay at Nayara Springs. Check in at the hotel was easy. You park or get dropped off at the security area (also where the gym is) and then a golf cart takes you up to the main building where the reception area is and the restaurant. "Great views. Monkeys, toucans, and macaws seen right from our balcony! Steep road to the entrance with literally 4-5 parking spots at the top. You can park at the bottom and ride the golf cart up. Buffet breakfast was good. Activities and grounds (fountains, ect)were, Im assuming, shut down for maintenance."

"This is our second stay at this hotel. I would come back every year if I could. It is a smaller boutique hotel, which is perfect. The pool is refreshing and lovely. The room is clean and spacious. It has been updated since we were last year five years ago. It is in the perfect location, walkable to restaurants, shops beaches."

"Tulemar is truly like being in paradise! We woke up to monkeys playing on the roof in the morning and jumping from tree to tree. We could not stop watching them. Brian was our concierge and he was the best! Anything we needed he took care of. We could relax and didn’t have any worries. The grounds are beautiful and perfectly maintained. "Property is awesome especially for wildlife viewing. Monkeys and sloths right outside our doors. Property is extremely large so be prepared but the shuttles are convenient. Private Chef in our room was a highlight for us."

"Excellent location to stay by the beach and close to Manuel Antonio National Park. Everything about this hotel was great. Walking distance to multiple restaurants. Good parking space. Very kind and helpful staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel happy and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. The amenities were in excellent shape, pools were always clean. "Spotless!!!!!!!! Nice smell. Location was perfect. Close to Manuel Antonio, and Quepos. So you get some jungle and some city. I would recommend some hooks on the wall to hang clothes. Everything else was top notch. Love the bathroom, the bed, the view and air conditioning "

"Loved our stay here!! Beautiful views, porch was a plus, air conditioning worked great, comfortable, and we own had our own parking spot right outside the door. The only small downfall is the entrance is pretty dangerous as it's hard to see cars coming from the one direction. Recommend 1000%! Our favorite stay out of the 4 places we stayed in Costa Rica!"
