"This historic and majestic hotel stands on the coast of Cascais, Portugal. It's elegantly decorated with comfortable rooms. The hotel is in between two gorgeous white sand beaches and is a short ride to the quaint city of Cascais, which has great restaurants, shopping and a jazz club. The downside is that the hotel's WiFi is weak and inconsistent. "

"5 star accommodations and service. Excellent breakfast. We ate at the restaurant for the special new year's eve dinner - it was excellent. We did not try the regular menu. Neighborhood is superb - 10 min walk to the center of Cascais on the walkway by the ocean. Easy uber (25-30 min) or train (45 min) into Lisbon. Train runs in front of the hotel, however, despite being on the second floor, the soundproofing was outstanding - could not hear the trains pass. Rooms are updated and well appointed....
