"Lovely hotel and outstanding friendly staff. We ate at the restaurants and café, and the food was very good. There were loads of families with kids and the hotel sponsors activities for kids, too. The Rosie's holidays desk was always staffed, and there are electric buggies to take you around the rather sprawling property and to neighboring hotels (like the Westin, where the spa is located). The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and ours came with a welcome plate of macarons and chocolates. Be careful if you visit during rainy season, as many of the paths around the grounds flood temporarily during heavy rain. Also be aware that there are no lifts to the second floor rooms, only stairs. Still, the staff go out of their way to be helpful."

"Overall, a really nice stay, but if we’d known how isolated it was, we might have chosen somewhere closer to the marina for easier access to tours and dining options. Detailed: The room was very nice, spacious, and comfortable. Cleaning was good, although we had to request fresh towels a couple of times as they weren’t replaced daily. The air conditioning worked, but didn’t cool the room enough to feel fully comfortable. We still felt a bit warm even with the fans & AC on. The staff were a highlight, always friendly, smiling, and happy to help. Breakfast had a good variety of options, but they started packing things up about 20–30 minutes before the official closing time. The same happened with dinner, where shows started late and kitchen service wrapped up earlier than expected, so you had to arrive early to avoid missing out. The pool area and pool bar were great ☺️clean, well maintained, and a lovely spot to relax, especially with shaded areas during the hottest part of the day. One thing to keep in mind is the LOCATION. The hotel is quite far from the main marina, and there are no nearby restaurants. Unless you book tours through the hotel or hire a car, you’ll likely spend most of your time on the resort. The boat transfer staff were always kind and helpful, which made getting across easy."

It would be good if the ferry price was included in the cost of staying or a return trip on the ferry was cheaper instead of paying $135fjd each way. "

"The staff were friendly, and the service was fast and efficient, making our stay very comfortable. The location was incredibly convenient, with easy access to everything we needed. Our room was clean, and housekeeping did a great job maintaining it daily. One of the highlights was the lovely beach and swimming pool right in front of our private villa—it felt very relaxing and exclusive. The only downside was that the room didn’t include plates or utensils, which would have made the stay even more convenient. The food at the hotel was amazing, with a great menu that was both affordable and delicious. Breakfast was especially enjoyable, offering plenty of tasty options to start the day. The complimentary drinks on Thursday were a lovely touch, and I especially loved the Bahama Mama cocktail. Service throughout was excellent, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. A big thank you to the staff at First Landing for making our stay so memorable and wonderful. Their hospitality truly stood out, and we would definitely recommend this place to others. The security was also excellent—we felt completely safe leaving our belongings in the hotel and had real peace of mind throughout our stay."

"Unfortunately they mucked up our breakfast, specifically asked for halaal options and one to also exclude egg and they served 3 serves ham and cheese sandwich and one veg cheese sandwich "

"Thr location is very convenient and all the amenities are there. Free parking at the property and it is located right in front of the port marina. Very clean and we recommend it to anyone who wishes to enjoy Denarau."

"Staff were extremely friendly helpful and courteous. Pool was polluted for 2 days before it was closed for repairs. People swam in dirty unfiltered water with associated health risks. Room was functional with kitchen and small laundry combined with bathroom. Additional bed was pull down from fake cupboard. A little inconvenient but comfortable and clean. Overall a positive experience very close to Port Denarau marina."
